We’re seeking a program manager who has experience in fast paced environments which may include social ventures or startups.
This position requires someone who loves a challenge, is comfortable with ambiguity, can thrive in a remote work environment, and does not need a lot of structure. We expect program managers to dive in from the beginning, learn quickly, ask questions when clarity is needed, manage moving parts and take on significant responsibility.

The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for meeting organizational goals for operational efficiency and program success in their corresponding city. The PM is tasked with coordination and execution of every aspect of the Enstitute program including the recruitment and management of entrepreneurs and apprentices, delivery of supplemental programming, management of local boards and Enstitute advocates, communications and reporting as well as support and improvement of internal processes. The PM reports to the CEO and works in collaboration with Enstitute staff and stakeholders.
Planning and executing weekly evening supplemental programming for current apprentices including guest speakers, field trips, workshops and discussions
Meeting 1:1 with Enstitute host company entrepreneurs and apprentices on a monthly basis
Planning and executing a week long bootcamp which trains and onboards incoming apprentices
Recruiting new members for local community and entrepreneur boards and working to increase engagement of existing members
Researching and contacting local entrepreneurs to share more about Enstitute’s program and sign them up to interview apprentices
Educating yourself about best practices for evaluating and communicating applicants’ skills, attributes and technical abilities
Creating, implementing, and evaluating process for various stages of applicant review
Managing applicant experience and admissions e-mail account throughout all stages of application and review cycle
Working with apprentices on personal development plans, providing critical feedback for areas of improvement and supporting incorporation of that feedback
Taking on other responsibilities and supporting the team as needed
You have 3+ years experience working as a community builder, organizer, and/or mentor/supporter of entrepreneurs or millennials.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are excited about being a pioneer to support our program growth and expansion in the innovation community.
You are a rockstar at building networks and cultivating personal relationships.
You are a self starter who can manage yourself and own processes from start to finish.
You have an ability to confidently interface with high profile entrepreneurs and community members.
You like to create order where it doesn’t exist.
You are willing and able to work some evenings and some weekends and travel on occasion to other program hubs.
You are comfortable working independently and remotely
You appreciate what it is to be a team player and have never said 'that's not my job'.
